TERMS AND CONDITIONS – ISL Holiday Camps
(ISL Holiday Camps refers to holiday camps organised by the International School of Lausanne)
Price
The prices on the www.holiday-camps.ch website include all activities as well as any material used during the camps. Lunch and morning and afternoon snacks are also included in the price.
Arrival
Arrival times are between 08:30 and 09:00 in the morning. For an additional charge, there is the option to drop children off as from 07:30. At least one adult must accompany the children to the camp reception.
Departure
The camp day ends at 17:00, children should be picked up at that time. For an additional charge, there is an option to pick-up children until 18:00. Children are not allowed to leave the campus unless there is a written authorisation from parents/ guardians.
Insurance
All participants must be insured in Switzerland, specifically against accidents and have third-party liability insurance. ISL Holiday Camps decline all responsibility in case of accidents, damage, loss, or theft of personal belongings.
Payment
The payment must be carried out on the website, by credit card, at the time of booking. We do not accept any other means of payment.
Promotional codes
Promotional codes can be applied to the shopping cart before the payment is made. The codes cannot be used cumulatively.
Confirmation of booking
Once the payment has been confirmed, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address used to make the reservation. This email contains details and forms for each camp.
Cancellations
Cancellation due to COVID-19 legal requirements
A full reimbursement will be granted should the camps be cancelled due to updated COVID-19 legal requirements.
Cancellation up until 30 days prior to camp start date
If the cancellation occurs up to 30 days prior to the start date of the camp, a refund of 100% of the camp fees will be granted. Note that a 10% cancellation fee will be applied.
Cancellation up until 14 days prior to camp start date
If the cancellation occurs between 29 and 14 days prior to the start date of the camp, a refund of 50% of the camp fees will be granted.
Cancellation occurs within 14 days of the camp start date
If the cancellation occurs between 13 days and the start date of the camp, no refund of the camp fees will be granted.
Cancellation after the start date
No refund is possible if a cancellation occurs after the start of the camp.
Cancellation due to illness or accident
Cancellations are accepted in the case of an accident or illness, supported by a medical certificate. A refund request should be sent to holiday-camps@isl.ch.
Cancellation by ISL Holiday Camps
In case of low enrolment numbers in any particular programme, ISL Holiday Camps reserves the right to cancel a camp. A minimum of 7 days notice will be given to registrants. In this case, a spot in a different programme will be guaranteed for your child, or you may request a full refund.
Modification to bookings
Change of dates
A participant is allowed to change camp dates within the same year, up until 14 days prior to the camp start date, subject to availability of places. Note that any request must be sent by email to holiday-camps@isl.ch. An administrative fee of CHF 30 per change will be billed.
Change of morning activity
A participant is allowed to change activity (morning activity) within the same camp week, subject to availability of places. Note that an administrative fee of CHF 30 per change will be billed. Any request must be sent to by email to holiday-camps@isl.ch
Parental responsibility
Parents/ guardians assume full responsibility for any damage caused, whether this is caused voluntarily or not.
Refusal of Enrolment/ Exclusion of participation
ISL Holiday Camps reserves the right to not accept the enrollment of children whose behavioural or individual needs are incompatible with the staffing available. Additionally, ISL Holiday Camps reserves the right to exclude any participant whose behaviour and/ or attitude do not reflect the values of the school, or create a risk of safety and well-being to other participants. Parents/ guardians must notify the staff of any known behavioural challenges or individual needs in order to allow ISL Holiday Camps to determine whether or not a child can be accepted.
Use of images and videos
The request regarding use of images and video is mentioned in the registration form. When registering a child to ISL Holiday Camps, the registrant must indicate on the registration form whether they agree or disagree that photographs or visual recordings of the child can be taken for promotional purposes. The child's full name will never be used for any promotional content. Parents/ guardians cannot claim any compensation for the diffusion of the images and/ or videos.
Medical file
All medical conditions, including allergies, must be mentioned in the registration form. If a medical issue arises after the completion of the form, ISL Holiday Camps must be informed by email at holiday-camps@isl.ch, if possible prior to the start date of the camp.
Special Dietary requirements
Any special dietary needs (for example: food intolerance or allergy, religious dietary restrictions, etc.) must be noted on the registration form. Note that there is no dispensation for gluten intolerance, due to the fact that traces can be found in some foods.
Smartphones/ Tablets
Participants do not need phones or tablets throughout the camps and are strongly advised not to not bring such objects. Should a child need to contact a parent/ guardian or another adult due to an emergency, a staff member will give them access to a phone.
Other
All camp participants must be toilet trained.
